Rehearsals are well under way for our Summer 2018 concert, so save the date for your diaries:-
Saturday 9 June 2018, at 7pm.
This year Verwood Choral Society is 30 years old and has had the same musical director the whole time, Mrs Ann Mayo. A few founder-members are still with the choir, although membership has changed over the years. We are still rather short of men - or rather, the lower voices, as tenor can be sung by women - so if you fancy a sing and are a tenor, baritone or bass, then please join us.
We will have a varied programme of music in the concert; something for everyone, as the saying goes. Our usual mix of classical choral, folk, popular songs and some lighter pieces. The traditional singalong will return, as well.
